I have a filthy carpet in the doorway to my living room, 4 humans, 2 cats and 5 rabbits don't help the muck so I thought "What have I got to lose", so I made a mixture of the Vanish Gold stain remover up popped it into a spray bottle and used a sponge and scrubbed. And I was very pleased with the result. I have used other cleaners on it which has barely touched it so this definitely worked well. I did not expect it to remove every single spot which it hasn't but looks so much better.
